Integrative Ayurvedic and Western Herbalist

Meet Paola

Founder of Azomalli

Hello, I’m Paola, an Integrative Ayurvedic & Western Herbalist, entrepreneur, and founder of Azomalli: a women-owned tea brand rooted in Mexican culture, ancestral herbalist tradition, and modern holistic science.

I believe true wellness isn’t about rigid rules, green-juice extremes, or mastering the “perfect” yoga pose. It’s about the whole enchilada; your nervous system, your relationships, your stress levels, your rituals, your cravings, your environment. Some days that looks like meditation and herbal tea. Other days it looks like survival mode. Both are human. Both deserve compassion.

Azomalli was created to support real life, not an idealized version of it. We craft delicious, gourmet, organic cacao shell tea and herbal blends that feel like a treat and a ritual; bold, comforting, and deeply satisfying, while also supporting nervous system balance, gentle energy, grounding, and everyday wellbeing.

Our ingredients are sustainably sourced and intentionally packaged, because wellness should extend beyond the cup and into how things are made.

This isn’t trend-based wellness.

It’s culturally rooted, plant-based support for modern life, made to taste incredible, and make you feel good too.

Living a Life In Harmony

My story begins with the women who raised me; my mother and grandmother who looked to nature for wellness, beauty, and everyday living. Long before “wellness” became a marketing category, they practiced a kind of care that was simple and intuitive: teas for digestion, herbs for comfort, plants for grounding, and remedies passed down through observation, tradition, and love.

Years later, I formalized that early foundation through advanced training in Ayurveda and Integrative Western Herbalism, becoming a Master Herbalist. And what I found was powerful: across cultures, healing keeps returning to one principle: balance.

That philosophy is the foundation of Azomalli. Rooted in Mexican culture and guided by holistic science, we craft gourmet herbal blends designed to support small rituals that anchor you in the middle of a full life. And sometimes, that ritual starts with a cup of cacao tea.

Join us on this journey to not only nurture your own well-being but to create
a positive impact on the community around you. Let Azomalli be your guide to a
life enriched with intention, connection, and natural balance.
